IN THIS LESSON
The most mysterious person of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit.
Common misconceptions are that they are an impersonal force, separate from God, or not God at all.
Yet, the Holy Spirit is crucial to our understanding of God and our everyday ordinary discipleship. Jesus conducted his earthly ministry in partnership with the totality of the Godhead, including the Holy Spirit. Then on Jesus' way to his death, he promised that the same power that he carried out his ministry would be sent to all of his disciples. Like Jesus, we must learn how to be dependent on God in his entirety. Be with the Father, become like Jesus, and live by the Holy Spirit.
